Tina was very clear and patient when explaining the training techniques we needed to use to prevent our dog from continuing to act in an aggressive manner to other dogs. There were 3 of us to explain and demonstrate to and she spent time with each of us. We were encouraged during the session when we saw that our dog immediately responded well to the techniques Tina used which we then each followed. We have been using the same training techniques for just over a week now and have seen a big improvement already. We have tried various types of training before to resolve his aggression but non have been effective previously. We are very thankful that Tina has given us the tools to work with to train him out of his behaviour so we can enjoy taking him out for walks again and be sociable with others dogs.

Trainer's Comments:

A super quick bright dog had been bitten to another dog some time ago and progressively became more anxious and defensive when seeing other dogs.  The family were keen to help him so that he would relax and walk past other dogs and be safe to let off lead and not rush barking at dogs he didn't know.  He was a star and his family worked well with the techniques I demonstrated and he began to improve very quickly on the day.  Now, with such committed owners, there's no reason why they can't succeed.

"

The training was fantastic we saw a difference in the dogs straight away. Lots of constructive information, looking forward to positive ongoing results

Trainer's Comments:

Two very gorgeous but hyper Staffies!  They greeted me by jumping up in a over friendly way and took a while to calm down.  Rough play with each other and mugging every visitor was an issue!  They both responded really well and were pretty tired after their brain work.  I'll be going back to work on loose lead walking and recall.

"

Just wanted to say that things are absolutely great , Enya has responded really really well to training and things have moved really fast and she is already off lead again with no signs of aggression towards other dogs

Trainer's Comments:

Enya had been attacked by another dog in an upprovoked attack and has since become very defensive and protective over her ball when out on walks, worse when on lead if a dog came up to her and she was anxious.  This resulted in her lunging and trying to drive dogs away.  Prior to this she had been happy to interact and play with other dogs socially.  We started with games to show her that her owners could make decisions and keep her safe and after less than 8 weeks, she has made excellent progress.

Tina came to help me with my two German Shepherds. Both girls, they had become unruly and over excited, Barking at other dogs and generally not listening. Tina was kind, calm and informative. Pointing out the obvious mistakes I was Making. Giving me instructions and exercises to practice with my girls. I have seen a difference within a week. As advised I have changed their diet and the difference is really noticeable. I really feel that Tina has put as back on track, towards two beautifully behaved dogs.

Trainer's Comments:

LIfe was becoming annoying and difficult for the owner of these two wayward girls!  Lovely natures, but had decided that their job was to guard the home, their owner, ALL the time!  So lunging and barking was a real issue and with two large dog a worry for their owner.  They responded wonderfully!  GSD's love to have rules and boundaries that they understand and are consistent and they relaxed and began to listen.  Food does make a big difference, too many carbs in today's processed dog foods just create excess energy and exacerbate anxieties.

"

l was very impressed in the major improvement that Tina had made with our overgrown puppy he is now a much more relaxed Dog coming home from work is a joy now as I no longer get bowled over and knocked. off my feet taking him out on walks are a lot less stressful as I am now the one taking the Dog for a walk not the Dog taking me l would 100% recommend Tina she certainly knows her stuff .

Trainer's Comments:

An overgrown puppy is the right description!  A  large strong Rhodesian Ridgeback at 2 years old and a beautiful example of his breed, was diving on furniture to guard against intruders, loved the sound of his own voice and at well over 45 kgs and very athletic, had been known to knock family over and pull so strongly on the lead he was almost uncontrollable.  However, he began to understand what was wanted and started to respond and enjoy the new training games we developed so he started to control those impulses that prevented his owners from fully enjoying him.

"

Excellent training techniques which we can all apply at home and whilst we are out. Also good advice on nutrition. Everything was explained clearly and Tina was very patient showing us exactly how to follow all the instructions given. Enya is thoroughly enjoying her new games with us, she is much calmer as a result.

"
D.D., Maidstone, Kent 11th March 2019
Trainer's Comments:

Enya is a very clever young dog and needed to have her brain challenged!  We worked on impulse control and focus games as she had begun to get dominant with some other dogs when out and about.

"

We found Tina to be very helpful in training us to manage Barney. The session was interesting and we and Barney learnt so much.

"

Trainer's Comments:

Barney was a very cute boy, but rather hyperactive and lacking concentration.  Once he truly understood his owners new training games, he was a star!

"

Well what can I say, it’s truly amazing, Duke is doing brilliantly, he is much better when Richard is here I will say that, but he is so much better generally, he does still try to mind me a bit, but I can stop him in his tracks. Thank you again for everything you have changed our lives.

"

Trainer's Comments:

I first saw Duke in January and this is the update I've received.  Such a great dog and so happy to respond and his owners can now enjoy him 100% of the time!

"

Very pleased with the advice Tina gave me, and by the time she left Chico was a completely different dog. I appreciate I have a long way to go, but will do work with Chico following Tina’s advice. I didn’t think this day would come. A big thanku to Tina , my children were advising me to get rid of the dog, but I didn’t want to give up on him and now with Tina’s help, I’m sure we will be fine, I know I’m on the right Rd.

"
J.M., Chatham, Kent 27th February 2019
Trainer's Comments:

Little Chico had become aggressive to his owner when resource guarding.  He'd bitten her several times and quite rightly her family were concerned for her wellbeing.  However, Chico fairly early on in the session from barking non stop at me suddenly realises that we were speaking his language and now he understood, was willing at first to cooperate and a little later began to love all the high praise he was getting because we were setting him up to get things right!  He showed his true nature and so long as the work is continued as shown he can become the dog he was meant to be.

"

Tina was really professional, she put us very much at ease, explained the theory not just the practical and our dog responded really well to her.

"
M.H., Rainham, Kent 24th February 2019
Trainer's Comments:

A young dog who hadn't quite got the ideal of where to go to toilet!  Also, her recall wasn't great so there was a lot anxiety about letting her off lead.  She was so attentive and her lovely owners were left with some homework to keep the progress going!

"

Everyone needs a Tina! Our lovely Lola came from a working background and we were having some on lead issues with anything that moved. She’s a strong dog and very vocal so draws attention to herself for the wrong reasons, all this wasn’t making walking her enjoyable. Tina explained a few basic things we had to address and she instantly picked it up. Our session made us realise that there is no quick fix and by putting these basic things in place we can adapt them to any situation, raising the stakes gradually. Tina has given us the tools, knowledge and support to make us feels like anything is possible. We’re generally excited to see where our little journey takes us. Thank you Tina

"
C.W., Chatham, Kent 17th February 2019
Trainer's Comments:

Lola had spent 5 years as a working girl so found it difficult to adjust to a different lifestyle.  However, she has started to enjoy learning a new job, as a very much loved family pet, using her amazing brain and willing attitude with her totally committed owners who love her to bits!

"

Tina was absolutely wonderful, Tina was recommended by some friends, Tina explained clearly and calmly how To correct behaviours and helped me feel more confident in putting these into practice, my dog has been transformed, and I cried at the end of the session because I was so overwhelmed with how well my dog responded and how much easier things would be A week on I am doing the training with my dog daily and he is doing so well , if you are considering using bark busters don’t hesitate go for it you will not be disappointed

Trainer's Comments:

Duke was very grateful to be made redundant from his top job as household organiser!  He was so happy to respond to his owners' new found confidence in understanding him and communicating in a way he understands her.  Gorgeous friendly boy, but strong and previously a bit of a handful!  So happy that matters are progressing well with the daily training.  He'll be loving all the attention!

"

Tina was fabulous not only with training Zeus but myself too, such simple techniques and understanding the language required to communicate with my puppy has changed our whole relationship. I was feeling overwhelmed, unsure whether I would be capable of caring for Zeus and yet with Tina’s help I feel confident that Zeus is going to be an asset to our family

"
S.S., Sutton Valence, Kent 2nd January 2019
Trainer's Comments:

Zeus is a young Hungarian Viszla pup.  He's very intelligent and thoroughly enjoyed the new games we showed him. He's just started to think like a teenager so needs a calm consistent education which his family can now provide.

"

Tina came to help us with a number of issues with our one year old rescue Sproodle who we adopted five weeks ago. She is extremely knowledgeable and experienced and immediately helped us to understand the areas we needed to work on to address Helix's bossy, bullying behaviour, his barking and other issues. The exercises she has given us are all relatively simple and easy to understand and we feel confident we can continue to do them on our own to continue with the training. She also gave us some really good advice for walking them without pulling and tools and techniques for doing so. We were really desperate for help and after just one session with Tina have already seen improvements in behaviour and feel much more positive now about Helix being able to settle in with our family. Thank you Tina, you were wonderful and really supportive. I would highly recommend Tina to others.

Trainer's Comments:

A young dog who has had in total 5 homes prior to this one.  Thankfully, his humans are totally committed to making it work.  He has a lovely sister to copy from, but he needed showing and guiding into new behaviours so that he wasn't just rehearsing the same unwanted ones, like jumping up, barking at visitors, rushing at other dogs and owners when off lead.  We showed him how to focus on his owners and how to control certain impulses.  He was a joy to teach and was so happy to respond.  He has found his life long home with great owners.

"

Tina has been amazing! On Tina’s advice we changed to a raw diet a few weeks before the first session and saw a change within two days, much calmer and happier, also it has worked out cheaper which is an added bonus. The training session went so well and was clear and easy to understand making it easy to follow on our own. There has been a massive change already, just one day and already no aggression to visitors and much easier to walk making it more enjoyable for me and my dog. Although it is early days and we have a way to go and work to do I can’t believe the changes we have seen already. Massive thanks to Tina for helping to settle and ensure our rescue dog has the best chance at her new forever home!

Trainer's Comments:

Roxy is a very sweet girl, but big and strong.  Due to her early life she is scared of dogs she hasn't had the chance to meet calmly so has been getting defensive.  We have started to show her a new way to behave with visitors, walk without lunging and reacting to dogs and to stop jumping up.  She was such a great willing girl, loving the new games we showed her, but it will take daily practice to help her overcome her anxieties.  Go Roxy!

"

This was a wonderful experience. I was quite nervous as I knew that despite all the reading I had done and my experience of behaviour modification I was doing lots of things wrong. Tina was very kind and patient and once she had explained the basic underlying principles everything made sense! She showed me the techniques and we had fabulous success even in the 3 hour session here. We had arranged for my friend and her two girls to come towards the end so we could practice and it was wonderful to see the girls happy that Ejla wasn’t jumping up and pawing them. We have done our first training already this morning and although the walking without pulling will take some work we have already made lots of progress. My neighbours were very curious as I walked around the close changing directions and doing figure of 8 and backwards leading etc. Thank you so much Tina and Barkbusters - you have literally changed our lives for the better!

Trainer's Comments:

What a lovely afternoon I had!  This was a young labrador x, very large and strong.  Extremely friendly, but had no idea that she was accidentally hurting people and scaring small dogs with her exuberant greetings!  However, she loved to please and get praise and was quick to understand and learn the new games.  I can't wait to see how they progress, she could easily become a field trial dog or obedience champion!!

"

Tina was so helpful with Archie’s problems of barking when friends come over, jumping up and general attention seeking. She was calm, professional and gently authoritative. She explained how I should deal with the problems in an understandable way and by the time we reached the end of the session Archie was putty in her hands. Clearly I was the one that needed the help and not him! I would definitely recommend Tina to anyone having problems with their dog.

"
W.W., Tunbridge Wells, Kent 29th November 2018
Trainer's Comments:

Archie had decided to be the one deciding when and how people should give him constant attention and demanded it most of the time!  He was such a quick learner, loved the new games where the humans in his life showed him a new way to behave and will practice until it's become his new habit!  Lovely dog, committed owners, he'll be a very happy contented relaxed boy.

"

Excellent! bespoke training to help our dog.

Trainer's Comments:

Having added a rescue to dog, another Lurcher, help was needed as she had very little focus on her owners, especially when out on lead, pulling like crazy and sometimes disappearing when off lead to go hunting!  We devised some slimple games to start the process of  helping her to focus and made them fun with lots of fuss and reward giving her the encouragement she needs.

"

Tina spent over 3 hours with us and our dogs biggins and asti, firstly talking through what we wanted for ourselves and for them to get out of the training. Tina then showed us some techniques and practices we can use to iron out the issues we had, i can honestly say it has been 5 days since our first session and we have already seen an improvement. We will continue to work on the training plan that Tina wrote up for us and will no doubt see more improvement. Tina also spoke to us about diet, games to play and general ways to help keep them entertained. It was a pleasure having Tina help us with us and our dogs and we are looking forward to having 2 very happy dogs in the house.

Trainer's Comments:

Two lovely dogs with lovely owners wanting the best for their dogs and to enjoy them to the full.  Lovely to hear that they are working hard with the training!

"

Tina was very helpful and knowledgeable. Rosie is already much calmer and responsive. Everything Tina observed and drew to my attention was spot-on. Excellent training session for Rosie and, more particularly, for me!

"

Trainer's Comments:

Little Rosie was a great pupil and loved all the games we put in place for daily practice to teach her a new way to behave and to control her impulse to react to other dogs.
